BABY!

The picture she snapped kind of looks like a ghost but seeing baby moving was SO cute! We could see little fingers moving. Our doc said the baby was REALLY active she was trying to take measurements and it took her a while because the baby was always moving around. It was so exciting to see. We were surprised how much he or she already looks like a little human!

I definitely want to switch doctors already she spoke her mind a little too freely. Not the nicest lady in the world. She didn't even introduce herself to me. I was eating a breakfast burrito from McDonalds (NOT A NORMAL THING FOR ME I hate that place lol) and she said that is NOT a healthy breakfast you know. Then I was telling her family health history and stumbling to know exactly what health problems we've had and in a really snotty voice she said you really need to know this stuff. A liiiittle cold :) But still a very special day!

Well, I just went and talked babies in the teacher's lounge. I was out bragged very quickly. One of my former students (and now a teacher) is on his 4th baby...

How cool is THAT!!! A little baby tucked in your body totally dependant on God and YOU. I keep going back and looking at him/her and marvel...

Look at that ultrasound and then please read Psalm 139 (Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain v.6) (For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully make; your works are wonderful, I know that full well v.13) and marvel at how great and comforting it is to have a God who loves and takes care of us. His mercy endures forever...

vote democrat vote life. democrats will end the war (killing innocent people) republicans will ruin our economy more poor people means more parents who can't afford to take care of their kids which means more abortions and more neglected children. democrat=life.

Welcome baby!! You are LOVELY and precious...maybe your parents should name you Caspar :)

As to the friendly democratic/republican debate--
can any existing party fix what ails us? I wish for a party that is truly life-loving, that would prohibit people from killing little babies, but also provide an economic system that allows people to have their basic needs met at all stages of life. Neither party appears to have a good grasp on enough important issues; but I am not so smart that I could figure it all out either. I do see that when we give too much in personal financial aid, there is a resultant dive in self esteem, family structure, character, motivation to work and to give, and an ugly, clamoring sense of entitlement that can creep in; so democrats don't have a working solution to poverty either. Regarding the war, I feel like this war is part of a "larger than life" battle; it has a spiritual element that no policy/party can truly impact... part of the struggle since the days of Ishmael and Isaac. Even if we withdraw ourselves, this enemy is going to keep hating and pursuing and killing. If we are standing up for innocent people who are being brutalized, is withdrawal the brave or more noble choice? This war confuses me because I don't know who to believe. Are we standing up for people or is it about oil or power as some suggest? But we were attacked, after all, by muslim extremists whether they be in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Whoever gets the job has all my sympathy.
Pray, and keep a heavenward focus, that's my personal philosophy. It's going to continue to be a bumpy ride!
Love, peace and joy!! (Grand) mom

I have to agree with Grand Mom on the political issue.
